LABORACAY 2015 Experience on Instagram

Hello #LABORACAY2015
It was my first time to experience LABORACAY (LABOR DAY + BORACAY). I've been to Boracay for  quite a number of times but this trip is incomparable to any of those trips. For one, imagine the stretch of white beach turning into a non stop beach party, it was crazy. There are so many young people too, like myself. Haha.. laboracay attracts the younger demographic  I think.

Here is my LaBoracay 2015 experience shared on my instagram.

Stayed at Alta Vista De Boracay. I love staying at this hotel whenever I'm in Boracay, the room is spacious and really nice. I also like the fact that it is located in one of Boracay's highest peak, meaning its less bustling and secluded. They also have free shuttle to and from the PUKA Beach and WHITE Beach.

#laboracay #ootd Shirt from SM Department Store, Short from Folded & Hung, Shoes from Sperry, Bracelet from Armani Exchange Lol
How else should I start LaBoracay right but with San Mig Light. Haha.. First Booze in LaBoracay is in my hotel, its a way of rewarding myself for working my ass off the whole year. Its Labor Day Weekend afterall, a celebration for working our asses off for the whole year. (This is just my definition) Lol.

and then, I hit the beach but first let me take a selfie. Lol

#laboracayselfie
Later that night, I found myself partying. tugs..tugs..tugs.. Famous, DJs and Musicians performs along the stretch of white beach and if you're lucky, you'll get free booze. How was that "not cool"?

And when I thought, I cant get a free booze anymore. I check out a party happening at The Tides Boracay roof deck.

Tambay sa Bar because it #laboracay
I also got "Belofied" for free. There is so much free stuff to get at laboracay.

PUKA BEACH, BORACAY

Located on the northern part of Boracay Island is the unspoiled beach called Puka Beach. It was named after the "Puka Shells" which the local say's is abundant in the area.

Compared to Boracay Stations 1,2 & 3, Puka Beach is not crowded. There are also no hotels and restaurants along the beach. The sand here may not be as fine as those in White Beach though.

Puka beach is one of the stop when you availed of the Island Hopping adventure. You can also hire a tricycle near D'Mall to get there.

TRAVEL BY SEA TO BORACAY WITH 2GO TRAVEL

Whenever I travel in and out of my home province Polillo Island, Quezon, I travel by sea. So, SEA TRAVEL is something that is not new to me. But I have never been in a big ship and its on my bucket list to be in one.

Finally, I have experienced how fun it is to travel by sea from my recent recent trip to boracay with 2go Travel.

Besides, Caticlan (Boracay) 2go Travel destination includes Bacolod, Cebu, Tagbilaran, Cagayan De Oro, Zamoboanga and many other provinces in the Philippines. My destination is Caticlan (Boracay) onboard their ship called St. Ignatius of Loyola.

THE TICKET

My ticket cost only 1,739.98 for a roundtrip Super Value Class Accommodation to Caticlan (Boracay) from Batangas Port, that includes free meal onboard. I book my ticket thru their website, travel.2go.com.ph. No Credit Card? Don't worry, because you can use your ATM Card to purchase ticket online.

ACCOMMODATION

Traveling by sea may be longer than by plane so, comfort is a top priority. You may choose among their various ACCOMMODATIONS: Super Value, Mega Value, Tourist, Cabin and State.

I stayed in SUPER VALUE CLASS ACCOMMODATION. Its basically a bunk bed in a non-air conditioned part of the vessel, Bathroom are shared with other passengers. I am sleeping almost the entire trip to Caticlan (Boracay) so, I would say its comfortable enough :) just imagine how comfortable it would be if your staying in their cabin or state accommodation?

2go Travel really made sea travel enjoyable, comfortable and affordable. I would say its affodable luxury, "vacation mode" starts as soon as I step inside the ship.

Wamboy Wanders: BORACAY

Finally, i will be setting my itchy feet to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world - Boracay. I actually don't plan it, it was like - one day we browse the net and found a cheap flight to Caticlan, very cheap that we book immediately. For the sake of you curios readers (just in case there is.)out there, it only cost us 13,100.48 for 4 that means 3,275.12 each, you may check www.cebupacificair.com, for cheap flights like ours.

It was my first time in Boracay so after confirming our flight, I do some research on accomodations, activities etc., luckily I found this website > www.myboracayguide.com. They will give you everything you need and everything you wanted to know about Boracay. We book our hotel through them at a very good price as well. We stayed at Boracay Holiday Resort, situated at Station 2.

After checking in, I am excited as hell to hit the beach and soak my foot to powdery white sand of the island.

Me (Perstaym), enjoying the white sand of Boracay
I spend the rest of my first day in Boracay strolling and taking pictures.

If you are a foodie, boracay has a wide selection of food that will surely tickle your palate. There are a lot of buffet along the beach of station 2 that will only cost you 300 to 500 pesos for dinner. Fire dancers entertaining you while having your dinner is a plus.

For adrenaline junkie or "Wannabe Adrenaline Junkie" like me, various activities are line up for you.I really enjoy ATV.The route leads me to Mt. Hulo.

After a tiring ATV activity, i hit the beach and enjoy the crystal clear water of boracay.

I separate myself from my friends for a while later that night to have a peaceful walk along the beach. I started with a cup of my favorite latte at starbucks.

Got a Henna tattoo because for me,Boracay experience will not be complete without staining myself with this for only 50 pesos.

The sound of the waves hitting the shoreline is calming, for a while I forgot everything I left in my office in manila, I enjoyed the serenity of everything that I forgot I reach Boracay Station 1.

Going back to my hotel i stop at a bar called Guilly's Island which brought back alive the party animal in me,

...and so my boracay experience is complete.

The next morning we leave boracay and MIS-adventure happen. All cebu pacific flight from Caticlan to Manila is cancelled due to bad weather condition.
Cancelled Flight

I got so mad because i have work left in manila and the worst is, I can't do anything. Cebu Pacific book us instead for a flight from Kalibo to Manila the following day,but hey!!! cebupacific made it up. They provided us accomodation in Kalibo in a very nice hotel called Sampaguita Garden Resort

The hotel is so nice that its worth another blog entry plus they gave us a free voucher round-trip domestic flight. How's that?? I was like, How I wish all my cebu pacific flight will be cancelled.

Happy travel,

WAMBOY
