LABORACAY 2015 Experience on Instagram

Hello #LABORACAY2015
It was my first time to experience LABORACAY (LABOR DAY + BORACAY). I've been to Boracay for  quite a number of times but this trip is incomparable to any of those trips. For one, imagine the stretch of white beach turning into a non stop beach party, it was crazy. There are so many young people too, like myself. Haha.. laboracay attracts the younger demographic  I think.

Here is my LaBoracay 2015 experience shared on my instagram.

Stayed at Alta Vista De Boracay. I love staying at this hotel whenever I'm in Boracay, the room is spacious and really nice. I also like the fact that it is located in one of Boracay's highest peak, meaning its less bustling and secluded. They also have free shuttle to and from the PUKA Beach and WHITE Beach.

#laboracay #ootd Shirt from SM Department Store, Short from Folded & Hung, Shoes from Sperry, Bracelet from Armani Exchange Lol
How else should I start LaBoracay right but with San Mig Light. Haha.. First Booze in LaBoracay is in my hotel, its a way of rewarding myself for working my ass off the whole year. Its Labor Day Weekend afterall, a celebration for working our asses off for the whole year. (This is just my definition) Lol.

and then, I hit the beach but first let me take a selfie. Lol

#laboracayselfie
Later that night, I found myself partying. tugs..tugs..tugs.. Famous, DJs and Musicians performs along the stretch of white beach and if you're lucky, you'll get free booze. How was that "not cool"?

And when I thought, I cant get a free booze anymore. I check out a party happening at The Tides Boracay roof deck.

Tambay sa Bar because it #laboracay
I also got "Belofied" for free. There is so much free stuff to get at laboracay.

GONE SURFING

I am still stoked from my recent surfing trip to Baler (hashtag #feelingsurfer)

I have always wanted to surf or at least have a picture of me standing on a surf board for my Instagram Account :)

So, my friends and I packed our bags for a Weekend Surfing Trip to Baler, the famous surfing site in Luzon.

Before I ride the waves of Baler, I need to look at least, like a real surfer. (Syempre pang Instagram)

SURFING LESSON

Surfing lesson can be found anywhere along the beach. The instructor will basically teach you how to stand up properly on a surfboard and thats it, you are ready to ride the waves of Baler.

Me with my Instructor
Lesson No. 1. Pano Sumakay sa SurfBoard
... now its time to apply the surfing lesson I learn.

Whoa!! I think, I just forgot my lessons haha...
First attempt and I just hold on to my Surfboard as tight as I could. Sorry Instructor, I forgot the lessons.
Fail
Credit to my Photographer for this one, it lasted a second I guess. haha..
I was able to stand up finally... and fall.
... after an hour of surfing lesson, I am tired and stoked. I can't wait to try surfing again. Who knows I will got a good pic for my Instagram by then. #hoping

A trip to Baler is not limited to surfing. A tricycle ride away from Baler is the town of Maria Aurora, where you can see the famous "Millenium Tree".

We also visited Museo de Baler to see some artifacts and a little bit of history of Baler.

... or you may simply relax like me  here in Costa Pacifica Resort.

PUERTO GALERA

Only three to four hours of travel from manila plus the fact the most visitors compared it to Boracay makes Puerto Galera a frequent beach destination in the Philippines.

It was my first time, so I am beyond excited to see and experience what this municipality in Oriental, Mindoro has to offer to a wandering tourist like me.

GETTING THERE

Getting there from Manila is easy, all you need to do is take a bus to Batangas Pier. There are Bus Station in Cubao (Near Ali Mall)  and Buendia (Near Gil Puyat LRT1 Station) and in Alabang South Station. Since, we live in the south, we take the bus from Alabang South Station.

Once in Batangas Pier, Head to Terminal III to get your boat ticket. There are also a lot of people shouting "Puerto Galera", who is more than willing to help you from buying your tickets, to paying your terminal fee and environmental fee, for a tip of course.

This is not our Boat..
... sana ito na lang.

WHITE BEACH

THIS IS NOT A WHITE BEACH!!! haha.. but its ok, as long as its a beach I'm gonna be fine. What bothers me is that, I see some trash (plastic bags, paper cups and beer bottles) along the beach. Whoever left that trash, please be a responsible traveler, LEAVE NOTHING BUT FOOTPRINTS!!! WE WANT TO SEE THE BEAUTY OF PUERTO GALERA FOREVER.

ACTIVITIES IN WHITE BEACH PUERTO GALERA

There are various activities you can do to enjoy your trip to Puerto Galera. You may try water sports like, Jet Skiing, Banana Boating, Parasailing and kayaking.

We also availed of the snorkeling activity offered by our hotel, which I really enjoy. I only regret that I don't have underwater camera to photograph such a beautiful underwater world. :(

Off to Snorkeling
... or you can wait to watch this beautiful sunset.

PUERTO GALERA AT NIGHT

Activities in Puerto Galera doesn't end as the sun sets. Puerto Galera lights up on fire at night, literally. Be entertained by fire dancers along the beach.

... or you can sip your Mindoro Swing while funny Drag Queens entertain you with their Lip Synching and crazy dance moves.

See you on my next trip...
