Every other year, my high school
celebrates alumni homecoming and after being away from the school and my high
school friends for ten years, attending the celebrations excites the hell out
of me. I first plan of going to Vigan for this vacation but its ok because I
really miss home and friends back home. And this is an opportunity for me to
feature my hometown in this blog and show you what our humble island can offer.
To get there, you could either
take a private car (sorry I don’t know the direction) or take a bus ( Raymond
Transportation) or van in Legarda, Sampaloc Manila going to Infanta Quezon, ask
the driver to drop you off at Real, Quezon (Crossing) where you can get a
tricycle to Real port is. The earliest lantsa ( Boat ) that goes to Polillo leaves Real
Port at 6:00 in the morning.Travel time is around seven hours: four hours travel from
Manila to Real and three hours from Real Port to Polillo Port. It can be very
exhausting and a lot can get seasick so better bring your ever reliable “contra
byahilo pills”

Aside from the beach featured above, there are a lot of more
